Valentine's Day was created by early Christians to commemorate a 2000 year old Roman Catholic tradition called Lupercalia.
Initially 14 February was just another prayer to the martyrdom of St Valentine, who was sentenced to death for daring to marry Christian couples when Rome had banned Christianity.
Over time, it has become the festival of lovers, and is considered one of the most romantic days of the year and is celebrated on 14 February every year!
Celebrate the most romantic day of the year with flowers. Nothing says 'I care about you' like a thoughtful gesture that also shows you've taken the time to make an effort.
The red rose is one of the most popular flowers for Valentine's Day, not to say a must (beware of bad taste, the roses must be red to avoid making mistakes!)
Red roses symbolise love, but not just any kind of love, they symbolise a passionate and deep love! They can be offered individually, by the half-dozen or dozen, or in a bouquet!
Give beautiful roses to your soul mate for Valentine's Day and let her know how much you love her :)
